Firenze – Full Day Excursion

Art, culture, beauty, elegance. Come to discover this extraordinary city of Dante, Michelangelo and Leonardo! With our comfortable coaches GT we will pick you up directly from the Hotel Augustus and Hotel Hermitage and via the motorway we will reach Florence. With an official guided tour in the morning to Michelangelo Square, Ponte Vecchio, Baptistery, Cathedral, Signoria Square, Santa Croce Square. In the afternoon guided tour of the Sinagoga. At the end free time for individual visits like Uffizi, Pitti painting gallery, (entrance-fee not included), or to go for shopping.

Portovenere e Le Cinque Terre – Full Day Excursion

Leaving Hotel Augustus and Hotel Hermitage in the morning, we will reach the harbour of La Spezia where a nice boat will bring us to Portovenere. Free time to visit the typical Ligurian fishing village with its particular houses and its suggestive church. By boat we will reach the 5 Terre National Park which is included in the “World Monument Fund”. We will visit the fishing village of Monterosso, Manarola and Riomaggiore perched on the rocky heights which drop down to the sea. The vines, olives and typical Mediterranean vegetation of this exceptional landscape can be enjoyed at close hand with an easy forty minutes walk including the romantic pathway “Via dell’Amore

Pisa e Lucca – Half Day Excursion

The open-air market of Forte Dei Marmi is world renowned for great shopping and its picturesque atmosphere, 15 minutes from the hotel in the city centre square. Highly recommended for all ages, from 8.30 A.M. till 12.30 P.M.

The Leaning Tower, the Baptistry, the Cathedral and the Monumental Cemetery built in total harmony and known all over the world: that is the Miracle Square, which we will visit with an official guide. Lucca is a typical medieval town which likes to be discovered strolling through the narrow lanes, looking at its ancient buildings, admiring its many Romanesque churches, wandering its mighty walls. Grotta del Vento – Half Day Esxcursion

Situated in the centre of the Apuanian Alps’ Nature Park in the province of Lucca, this is one of the most complete European caves, presenting an extraordinary variety of  phenomena which are competently and precisely illustrated by expert speleological guides.
Following practical walkways, we can admire under the spotlights the many wonders of the underground world: from shining stalactites and stalagmites to polychrome flowstones, alabaster draperies, crystal-brimmed lakes, underground water-courses and bizarre forms of erosion.
Our tour leader will pick you up from Hotel Augustus and Hotel Hermitage.

Siena e San Gimignano – Full Day Excursion

Join us in this magnificent excursion; with our comfortable coaches GT we will pick you up directly from the Hotel Augustus and Hotel Hermitage.
After a trip through the enchanting Tuscan countryside there we are in San Gimignano: its many towers dominating the typical landscape, tell us about a history full of  conflicts and victories.
Siena waits for us then with its charming atmosphere. After free time for lunch in the most beautiful square in the world: Piazza del Campo, we will visit Siena with an official guide.

Vinci e Shopping – Full Day Excursion

This interesting and amusing excursion is divided into two parts. In the morning, with our tour leader and an official guide, we will visit the “ Museo Leonardiano” at Vinci which is one of the amplest and original harvests of Leonardo scientist and engineer.
In the afternoon with our comfortable coach we will reach “The Mall”, the preferred destination to shop for top quality luxury brands at the best possible prices. It is an impressive luxury outlet centre, hosting exclusive luxury brands in an elegant setting.

Cave di Marmo – Half Day Excursion

Marble: the stone of art. Since Roman Times, the marble of the Apuan Alps has been utilized and appreciated. The masterpieces of Michelangelo are a clear example of what an artist can achieve through the hard work of carving joined to his creativity. A visit to the artist’s workshop, where statue are created out of rough marble-blocks.
In a marble quarry, up in the Apuanian Alps, we shall learn about how the huge marble-blocks are cut from the mountain.

Collodi e il Parco di Pinocchio – Half Day Excursion

Welcome to the Village of Fairy Tale! The Park of Pinocchio was built between 1956 and 1987 and it’s the most important park representing the Pinocchio’s Adventures (Story of a Puppet) written by Carlo Collodi and published in 1883 and read by millions of children all over the world.
